Four California stops highlight 2006 CORR Lucas Oil Series Race Schedule

Newport Beach, Calif. (November 10, 2005)-Mixing the tradition of short course off-road racing in the Midwest with an emergent demographic of off- road fanatics in Southern California, the 2006 Championship Off Road Racing season schedule will focus on both regions as the series continues its growth across the country.

"The seed has been planted for the growth of the CORR Lucas Oil Series," noted Piero Wemyss, Director of Operations for CORR. "It is vital that we continue to expand the series in California, a hot bed for off-road racing." The dates in Crandon (Wisconsin) and Bark River (Michigan) will remain on the Championship Off Road Racing schedule.

After the success of the inaugural Nissan Off Road Nationals presented by Lucas Oil in Chula Vista, CORR will open the 2006 Pro Series season on May 20-21 at the Chula Vista International Off Road Raceway. The 2006 Sportsman Series season will kick off at The Crandon International Off Road Raceway on June 24-25.

The Pro Series will return to Chula Vista on July 15-16. The Pro and Sportsman series will travel back to the Midwest for the Bark River (August 12-13) and Crandon (September 2-3) events. The final two dates for the 2006 Pro Series schedule will return to Chula Vista Sept. 23-24 and October 28-29.

Two additional Sportsman only dates to complete the 10 rounds of racing for the 2006 Sportsman Series are being discussed with possible venues in the Midwest.
