WHAT TO LOOK FOR AT CRANDON:

GREAVES "SHOOTS" FOR WIN IN BORG WARNER SHOOTOUT - Local Wisconsin off-road racer Johnny Greaves will line up his Forest County Potawatomi Toyota Tundra 4x4 for the first time in the legendary BorgWarner Shootout this weekend at Crandon. Greaves, DePere, Wis., finished third overall (the top Pro-2 class finisher) in last year's event in quest of the legendary Governor's Cup and a sizeable cash prize. This year, Greaves built and is campaigning a new Pro-4 class Tundra 4x4 and currently sits fifth overall in points - just 24 out of second. With two victories this season, Greaves continues to sit as the all-time race winner in CORR history with 24.

KINCAID LOOKS TOWARD ANOTHER TITLE AT HOME TRACK - Jeff Kincaid, from nearby Argonne, Wis., is heading home to his "backyard" track at Crandon this weekend in defense of his 2000 CORR Pro-Lite championship. He has won six straight Pro-Lite races at the historic off-road venue and seven overall since 1998. Kincaid has driven his new Forest County Potawatomi Toyota Tacoma to the overall points lead with four wins this season; he currently holds a 16-point lead in the Pro-Lite class over fellow Toyota Tacoma racer Steve Federico. His four wins adds to a CORR career total of 20, third in series history.

FEDERICO MOVES TOWARD ROOKIE OF THE YEAR HONORS - Steve Federico, Wilmette, Ill., continues his impressive drive toward the Kumo Tires Rookie of the Year Award in his Ingles/Mountain Dew Toyota Tacoma in the Pro-Lite class. Federico's great season includes his first career truck win at Bark River, Mich., and the second overall Pro-Lite points position behind defending champion Kincaid. Federico holds a 22-point lead over fellow Sportsman Super Buggy Champion and Toyota Tacoma racer and Chad Hord, Felch, Mich. (Boss Snow Plow Toyota Tacoma).

Jeff Kincaid, Pro-Lite Toyota Tacoma defending champion: "Crandon is a special place for me. Not only is it a stones throw from my home, but my family all comes out to watch. Plus, it's the best track in the series and the birthplace of CORR. We've tested a lot at Crandon since the first race in June, and we're just hoping to continue our success and work towards another championship."

Johnny Greaves, Pro-4 Toyota Tundra: "Testing has gone great. The Tundra is really finding its groove. We had a great run in the BorgWarner last year with the Pro-2 Tundra, and I'm really looking forward to competing in this year's race. Last year we had more than 60,000 fans come out during the holiday weekend. Everyone looks forward to Crandon on Labor Day weekend all year long."
