The Flying Dutchman Team invades Las Vegas for the Sema Show and will compete in the Lucas Oil Off Road Race scheduled for this weekend.

2010 Sema Show

Appleton, WI (November 3, 2010) - As the national trade show season begins, Dan Vanden Heuvel and the Flying Dutchman Off Road Race team sets up in the Maxxis Tires outdoor display for the Sema Show. Be sure to stop by and see the No. 77 Maxxis Tires sponsored Pro 2WD Chevrolet and meet the Team Owner / Driver himself, Dan Vanden Heuvel.

"We've been coming to the Sema Show for years," says Dan Vanden Heuvel. "It's a great place to meet with the fans and showcase our truck, along with our sponsors. I look forward to coming out here every year to meet fans of the sport, talk to old friends and make new ones."

Make sure to head over to the Lucas Oil Off Road races at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway after the show. Mike Vanden Heuvel, the 2010 TRAXXAS TORC Series Limited 2WD Truck Class Champion will be behind the wheel of the No. 77 Maxxis Tires sponsored Chevrolet competing in the Unlimited 2WD class for the weekend. With the announcement that Mike will be competing in the Pro 2WD class for the TRAXXAS TORC Series in 2011, this is a great opportunity for him to get some seat time and start honing his skills before taking on the rest of the class.

"Moving up to the Pro 2WD Class next year is a big step. These trucks have more power than the Limited 2WD trucks and this is a great place for me to get some experience in the truck on a new track," says Mike. "My goal for this weekend is to learn more about the truck, the driving styles of the other competitors and to improve my lap times."

Stop by the pits to meet the drivers, get their autographs and show your support for Off Road Racing.
