Las Vegas Racer Celebrates 20thSeason Championships & 179 racing wins in his 28 year racing career!

Las Vegas, Nevada --World class off road racing champion, Rob MacCachren, capped off his 2010 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series with fireworks as he put the exclamation point on a successful season of short course racing. Having clinched the 2010 Pro 2 Championship in Round 14 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in November, Rob MacCachren led his ROCKSTAR Energy/BFGoodrich Tires/Mastercraft Safety backed team into a new track at the Firebird International Raceway. MacCachren told the crew it was just like usual, "Let's go win some races." With the 2010 Lucas Oil Challenge Cup looming the day after the season finale, it would have been easy for the champion to throttle back and save it all for the Challenge Cup race. That is not, however, in the makeup of Rob MacCachren.

Well regarded for racing at the top levels in each discipline over his 28-year career, MacCachren prepared and dissected the newly established Firebird International Raceway race track like he does every weekend.

By the end of Saturday's main event, Rob MacCachren stood on the podium's top step adding another dominating victory to an already championship season.

MacCachren later commented, "We're here to win races and win championships and that's really what it's all about. We will be racing here next year and this was the perfect opportunity to learn everything we can about this track. I'm very proud of the team and the commitment all of our sponsors made in 2010 and it showed with a successful march to a championship. Thanks to everyone for the continued support all season long."

MacCachren qualified the #21 ROCKSTAR Energy/BFGoodrich Tires/Mastercraft Safety Unlimited Pro 2 in the top spot on Friday afternoon as racing activities kicked off. For Saturday's main event in Round 15, he started on the third row after a mandatory 6 position inversion.

It didn't take long before he worked his way towards the front of the pack and once up front, Rob never looked back. MacCachren railed the #21 ROCKSTAR Energy/BFGoodrich Tires/Mastercraft Safety Unlimited Pro 2 to victory as his BFGoodrich Tires churned up the Arizona dirt.

Saturday's victory marks Rob MacCachren's 9thLucas Oil Series Pro 2 victory this year, adding another win to an incredible list of victories in his career. Rob now has earned a whopping 179victories in all disciplines of off road racing over the last 28 years. After nearly three decades of off road racing, this year's season championship enumerates his 20th season championships. The 2010 season also highlights Rob's partnership with BFGoodrich Tires for the past 20 years.

Rob MacCachren ends the 2010 off road racing season for a mere 3 weeks before he kicks off the 2011 off road racing season at the 2011 SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge held along the shores of the famed Colorado River in Laughlin, NV.
