BRATT AND BACHETA BATTLE IT OUT IN TESTING

Ryan Lewis and Nick Tandy looming

Luciano Bacheta topped testing standings this morning, ahead of the win or bust FPA Shootout at Snetterton on 3/4 November.

Bacheta finished ahead of Will Bratt in the morning's first session, with positions reversed in the second test.

Bacheta was pleased with the result, but remained grounded: "I went better than expected. I thought it would take a while to get used to things after testing here in an F3 car on Wednesday. I'm not going to get carried away just yet, but so far, so good."

Will Bratt felt this afternoon's test sessions would see his lap times tumble: "We're going to work on the aero-balance this afternoon, which should bring some more pace. I'm reasonably happy with how the morning has gone though."

Nick Tandy was a late entry to the FPA Shootout, and felt that today's testing would be a steep learning curve. "The car felt good. There was a little bit of oversteer this morning that we left alone so I could adapt to the car a bit quicker. I'll be a bit more sympathetic if I'm going to do well in the races though. Looking after the tyres is going to be crucial."

Double Autumn Trophy race-winner Richard Keen, sits in 10th place, but remained un-phased. "It's only the morning sessions, and it's really tight at the top, so I'm not overly concerned. The pace will be there," said Keen.

The remaining test sessions ahead of this weekend's FPA Shootout are scheduled to begin at 14:00 and 15:30. <pre> FPA Shootout Snetterton morning testing overall positions
