Montoya, J. Jorge and crew while awaiting for a decision "The Pitbull Kid" keeps updating reflexes in go-karts races.

Jonatan Jorge, Pitbull Energy Drink and Montoya Racing driver, that this year won the Rookie-of-the-Year status on the Skip Barber Southern Series, finished 5th at the last round of the Manufacturer Cup, Yamaha 100 cc Senior class. The event was held in Batavia, NY in the last weekend of September. Jorge, that counts with the support of the formula 1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya, was invited by Kart Speed Racing Florida, official dealer of the italian brand Marikart. "The result exceeded our expectations", said the Kart Speed Crew chief Carl Phillipe Denis:

"- The company is looking to expand in the American market and a result like this, we have to commemorate. We are already measuring the attention and exposure that the result brought among the many teams competing in the event. We are well prepared and we know exactly where we can improve. Also, is important to highlight driver Jonatan Jorge contribuition for this positive result. When we decided to invite him, we already knew his racing resume. He not only confirmed all that people say about him, but showed another qualities. He stands out with his feedback ability with the equipment, has experience, attitude and a such a talent, comparable with great international drivers. It's a pleasure to watch him driving, no doubt".

The brazilian driver said "the track is beautiful, with great elevation changes and it's tricky just like any other. The equipment is good, and I still can take a little more from it. The team is very professional, work together and has good resources. I know that I could delivery more if wasn't for the incident with the guy behind. He pushed me out of the track and I lost a lot of positions. I hope to be able to participate in the 2002/ 2003 Championship that starts in December, but right now I can't confirm. I'm evaluating invitations from Toyota Atlantics and another series teams to drive in USA or overseas . If the package offered by the teams and the sponsosrhip support is there, for sure I'll take that direction next year .Even though, I like to be driving go-karts, that keep reflexes updated". One of the high points of the event was Juan Pablo Montoya. Besides Jonatan Jorge support, the Formula 1 driver also was looking closely to his brother Federico Montoya performance, that competed in the same class. The winner was the American Tony Loniewski. The first round of the 2002/ 2003 Manufacturer Cup Championship is in December at Daytona Beach.
