The 2018 Radical Canada Cup (RCC) racing series will be run in conjunction with the Canadian Automobile Sports Club (CASC) and is open to all Radical Sportscars.

The season will begin May 18 on Canadian Tire Motorsports Park’s road course. The series will then visit the tracks of Calabogie, Shannonville, Mont-Tremblant, Watkins Glen in the state of New York, and CTMP for the season’s finale.

Each race weekend will consist of practice, qualifying sessions and two or three races, as well a test day held the Friday before each event. Organizers says there will be plenty of track time and participants will have the option of running just one day or having two drivers share a car to compete in the event.

Championship points will be awarded based on the CASC point system; each driver’s best five out of six events will be used to calculate their season points total.

Radical Canada’s President Robert Burgess said: "The Radical Canada Cup’s fifth season was very successful with great competition and a championship battle that went down to the very last race. We’ve recently sold several cars that will be racing with us in 2018.”
