Sebring Live Internet Broadcast

ALL 16 HOURS OF RACING AT SEBRING TO BE BROADCAST LIVE ON THE INTERNET

LOUISVILLE, KY & SACRAMENTO, CA; March 13, 1998 -- For the second straight year, The Auto Channel will be working with Florida radio station WWTK - 730AM to broadcast the complete 12 Hour Sebring endurance race, as well as a supporting 4 hour race, over the internet. The Auto Channel will also be simulcasting WWTK's daily 2 hour morning shows, which will feature interviews and stories surrounding the festivities. The morning shows will be presented live and originate from Sebring International Raceway.

WWTK, and its sister station WWOJ, have been broadcasting the Sebring Classic in their local market for several years, in addition to syndicating the coverage to selected radio stations across America. The Auto Channel's world wide internet simulcast will also be linked to and distributed by several other motor sports related websites around the world, making this year's broadcast the most widely heard.

The Sebring races are sanctioned by Professional Sportscar Racing, Inc., the successor organization to IMSA, which is also headquartered in Florida.

The Auto Channel's live Sebring 12 Hour race coverage will begin on Saturday, March 21st at 9am ET. A supporting event, a STREET STOCK race, will be held on Friday, March 20th. Live coverage of this event will begin on The Auto Channel at 2pm ET. WWTK's morning shows from the track will air Monday - Friday, beginning March 16th at 9am ET.

All race coverage and WWTK shows will be archived and continuously available on The Auto Channel immediately following their original live presentations.

The Auto Channel will use Microsoft's VXtreme and Real Networks' RealAudio technology to broadcast the events. Internet users can access the coverage through The Auto Channel's website at "http://www.theautochannel.com". For best results, users are encouraged to use a 28.8 or faster modem.
