POSSUM BOURNE WINS AGAIN

Possum Bourne has won the 1998 Bridgestone Coffs Harbour Rally after winning both heats. Bourne dominated todays competition, winning five of the six stages, to take victory by twenty-three seconds ahead of the Neal Bates/Coral Taylor Toyota Corolla WRC car. Bates managed to win the second last stage to reduce Bourne's lead to nineteen seconds, but the Kiwi regained nearly all of that time down the fast Sherwood Road.
