Mistral Racing & Astra Racing teamed up for Rallye Monte Carlo. Roger Feghali with his new co-driver Nicola Arena are driving one of the seven Pumas entered in the new junior world championship for 2002.

Rallye Monte Carlo, the opening event of the six-round championship, is the most difficult event due to the unpredictability of the weather.

This merger between Mistral Racing and Astra is considered as an excellent step for both teams due to the excellent relationship. For Mistral Racing, Astra Racing's experience with Ford Pumas is very important. Astra Racing operates 4 Ford Pumas with a very close cooperation with Ford Rally Sport.

At the Start of Rallye Monte Carlo, Mistral Racing's driver, Roger Feghali, is in very high spirits and in a positive mood. He noted that he is highly impressed and satisfied with the professionalism of Astra Racing, Mistral Racing's new partner.

At the first stage Roger finished in 14 place, 1.44sc after the leader, the 2nd stage was canceled due to too many people around the stage, in the 3rd stage Roger finished in 11 place, which bring him up to 11th in the junior s-1600 class. in stage no-4 Roger finished in 6 place which moved him to 7th in the class.

Roger Feghali stated after SS2: "the car is very good but it is hard to set it up. I am quite satisfied."

He added: "Our Objective is to finish the rally, because it is important for our debut in the WJRC."

Roger Feghali is now 25th over all.
