VP Racing Fuels To Power Rally America In 2011

San Antonio, TX (February 9th, 2011) - Officials at RallyCar announced VP Racing Fuels has signed on as the Official Racing Fuel of the Rally America National Championship for the 2011 season. With the agreement, VP will be the exclusive on-site supplier of racing fuels at all 2011 events, beginning with The Rally in the 100 Acre Wood scheduled Feb 25-26 in Salem, MO.

"The sport of Stage Rally in North America is growing thanks to the efforts of RallyCar and we want to be a part of it," said Jim Kelly, VP's Corporate Director-Sales & Marketing. "Fueling Antoine L'Estage and Nathalie Richard's 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X that was prepared by the legendary John Buffum and Libra Racing to the 2010 Triple Crown of Rally racing was just the start! The RallyCar / Rally America National Championship is the perfect stage on which to showcase VP's RallyMax, MS109e, VP100 and other great fuels for rally and off road racing. In addition to working with rally engineers on their dynos and at the races around the world, we're really looking forward to consulting with the US and Canadian Rally teams on site regarding their fuel needs and tuning."

"We're extremely pleased to have a world-renowned company such as VP Racing Fuels join RallyCar as the Official Fuel Supplier of the Rally America National Championship," stated J.B. Niday, Managing Director of RallyCar. "Given the consistent growth the sport of Stage Rally has enjoyed in North America over the past five years, as well as the ever-increasing technology the teams and manufacturers are bringing to the sport, it's only fitting that we partner with a top-shelf fuel supplier who's not only interested in working with the competitors to get the most out of their Rally cars, but doing it as affordably as possible - there's no doubt that it's a win/win situation for everyone involved and we couldn't be happier."

"At the Motorsports 2011 show last month in Philadelphia, among many popular oval track and drag cars we staged a Vermont Car Subaru," Kelly continued. "It stole the show-fans of all ages were all over it. Rally is clearly catching on and we're happy to be a part of it."
