Key Motorsport is extremely proud and pleased to announce all drivers' for its six car assault on the 2003 Federation Auto-Quebec/Hankook Series. Key Motorsport is preparing to repeat their Formula Ford 1600 series championship title in 2002 as well as capturing the second spot of the Touring GT championship.

In the Formula Ford 1600 class, Sherbrooke's native Olivier Comeau is joining the team for a second year. In 2002 he participated in this same series. In 3 races out of the 7 scheduled races, Olivier impressed many observers and finished all 3 races in the top 6. This gave him the eleventh position of the 2002 championship.

Steve Djelebian, Key Motorsport team principle, commented; "Olivier had an excellent exploratory first year in the series last year. He's young, smart, talented and we're glad he's returning," said Steve Djelebian. "

Comeau is joined by Sam Fayer who comes from Montreal with a background in Formula Ford. Sam finished in the eleventh spot (in his only race last year) of the last round of the 2002 Canadian Formula Ford Championship. A great result for the twenty-six-year-old driver, who is in remission of an acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.

Serge Bourdeau completes the Formula Ford 1600 line-up.

"The FAQ has an excellent program for growth and advancement of young drivers," said Djelebian. I committed to this program when I realized the potential and value it offers. I'm sure our drivers are just the first of many success stories that the FAQ will have as they advances to higher ranks of racing."

In the Touring class, Key Motorsport will expand to a three-car effort for 2003 with Jacques Gravel competing for the second straight year along with young racing sensation Marc-Antoine Camirand and rookie Sylvain Laporte.

Jacques Gravel will be driving a BMW 328i E36 sponsored by Hankook/Canada Tire. The veteran driver finished second in last year's championship, finishing 5 times on the podium.

"I tested in Saint-Eustache last week, and it was very exciting for me," said Jacques Gravel. "The car was very comfortable, and I liked it very much."

Marc-Antoine Camirand is joining the Key Motorsport team, and will be driving a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon (sponsored by Hyundai Canada). This same car raced the 2002 Grand-American Championship with lots of success. Camirand, whose extensive racing experience includes Formula Ford 2000 with Key Motorsport, stints in Indy Light, Formula Atlantic and American Le Mans, aims to build on the success he experienced while working with Steve and Key Motorsport.

"I'm involved because my friend Steve called about a good project and an exciting series," Camirand said. "We are going to take Key Motorsport/Hyundai Auto Canada to the front of the FAQ/Hankook Series championship."

Rookie Sylvain Laporte, will make his FAQ debut driving the third car, a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon -- prepared by Key Motorsport.

"We have exceptional drivers, and with our personnel and our experience, it's a great combination," Djelebian said. "We will be serious contenders. This is a very good series -- the place to be."

Djelebian and his team Key Motorsport has been active in motorsports for nearly two decades and has competed in various series, including Formula Ford 2000, Formula Ford 1600, Grand American and numerous regional series.

The Federation Auto-Quebec/Hankook Series season starts May 24th at Mont-Tremblant raceway. The races will be televised on RDS on October 22, 2003.
