ELKHART LAKE, Wisc. -- ArmsUp Motorsports enters this year's June Sprints at Road America having scored a race win, two poles, and a podium during the previous two editions of this prestigious event. Over the past weekend ArmsUp Motorsports spent the weekend at Road America competing in the SCCA Milwaukee Region event. The team used the double regional event to prepare both cars and drivers for this weekend's June Sprints.

The weekend was a successful event for the ArmsUp Motorsports drivers as Walter Vollrath scored his first victory behind the wheel of a racecar. Vollrath, who improved his personal best lap time by over three seconds, took the Formula Continental win in Saturday's event. Sunday saw J.M. Paredes score a victory in his ArmsUp Motorsports Swift .014 Formula Atlantic machine as he shows continued improvement each time he gets in the car. John Dickmann continues to get comfortable in his FC car as he set a new personal best leading into the June Sprints.

ArmsUp Motorsports drivers Kirk Kindsfater and Jim Victor spent the weekend evaluating different setup to their Formula Continentals. Working with new team engineer John Mullen, the duo sorted through several different suspension and aerodynamic combinations trying to optimize the car for the difficult 4-mile Road America Circuit.

"I am really looking forward to the June Sprints," commented ArmsUp owner Gregg Borland. "This is a huge event for our team. Road America is our home track so we usually have a lot of fans out at the track pulling for us. After running this weekend, I think we have a good chance of scoring our second June Sprints win."

ArmsUp Motorsports will have five cars competing in the June Sprints with John Dickmann, Kirk Kindsfater, Jim Victor and Walter Vollrath running in Formula Continental and J.M. Paredes running in Formula Atlantic. The green flag will wave June 24th at 4:00 pm (est.) as ArmsUp Motorsports trys to claim it's second June Sprints Championship.
