"ArmsUp Motorsports Qualifies Five Cars In the Top-10 at the SCCA National Championship Runoffs"

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. -- ArmsUp Motorsports showed their strength this week in qualifying for the SCCA National Championship Runoff's held for the first time at the famed Road America racetrack. After three days of qualifying ArmsUp Motorsports drivers occupied five of the top-ten qualifying positions in the 25 car Formula Continental category.

Revere Greist led the ArmsUp squad by putting his Waypoint Health Innovations car second on the grid just four-tenths of a second off of the pole time. Kirk Kindsfater is next in the order with a fourth place run in the third and final day of qualifying. Kindsfater put the car fourth even though he was never able to lay down a perfectly clean lap. After not posting a time in the first two qualifying sessions Joe Tovo laid down his fastest lap ever at Road America to wind-up seventh in the qualifying order. Pat McGinnis had one of his strongest runs to date, placing eighth in today's session posting his best time of the week. Jim Victor will start from his best ever Runoffs starting position. The Iowa driver will roll off the grid ninth in Saturday's race as he looks for his best ever Runoffs finish.

In the Formula Atlantic division, Jose Paredes logged the 13th fastest time in the three days of qualifying. The Illinois resident will start his first ever Runoffs campaign from the inside of the seventh row.

Racing action for ArmsUp Motorsports will begin Friday at 4:30 with the Formula Atlantic National Championship race. The Formula Continental main event will take the green flag at 3:30 Saturday afternoon. Check back with ArmsUpMotorsports.com for a full Runoffs race report Monday morning.
