Toby Grahovec Takes Pole Position For SCCA National Championship Race

Mansfield, OH (September 22, 2005)- Toby Grahovec will lead a 39 car Showroom Stock B (SSB) field to the green flag tomorrow in hopes of his first SCCA National Championship. Grahovec was fast when it counted and set his fast lap in the first qualifying session on Tuesday. Grahovec scored his second career Pole Position at the SCCA National Championship Runoffs in his Southeastern Guide Dogs/ Hoosier Tire/ Classic BMW Z4. The Palos Park, IL native will lead the field around a very tough Mid Ohio Sports Car Course tomorrow at 10:55am. The race for the SSB National Championship will be broadcast November 20, 2005 at 1:00pm on the Speed Channel.

Toby commented: "I'm really excited to put the Classic BMW/ Paw Power Z4 on the pole. All of the guys from Classic BMW have worked really hard this week and it paid off. I had the luxury of setting fast lap right away in the first session and was able to sit back and let the other guys try to catch up. Tomorrow is going to be a lot of fun, and if it all works out right, I'll take the checkers the same way I take the green flag. In the lead."

Grahovec would like to thank all of his sponsors for the support and dedication to his racing efforts. Classic BMW (www.classicbmw.com), Southeastern Guide Dogs, Inc., Comcast Spotlight, English Color and Supply, Reynolds & Reynolds, Hoosier Racing Tires, Red Line Oil, RealTime Racing, King Motorsports, Trackside Communications, and IMAGE Sports Marketing and Management make up the sponsorship team.
