RCR Racing Appoints New Crew Chief.

Riverside California - The leading Independent Trophy Truck offroad racing team of RCR Racing has announced the appointment of a new crew chief to their desert racing program.

Ed Frisk, 36 of Temecula California has replaced Lance Barron in the position of Crew Chief to the Riverside based Trophy Truck team.

A spokesman for the RCR Racing team stated that Ed Frisk has been appointed to put into place a comprehensive testing program, parts program and development program on the Ford Ranger Super Cab that the team campaigns in the Trophy Truck offroad race series.

Frisk brings to the team 15 years of experience working for a number of successful mini truck and full size offroad truck programs.

Prior to this appointment Ed Frisk was the desert program Crew Chief for the Chevrolet factory supported team of Nelson & Nelson Racing.

That team is currently third in points in the SCORE Trophy Truck series.

Amongst his qualifications Ed Frisk was Crew Chief to a four time championship winning mini truck team that went on to enter the unlimited Trophy Truck division of offroad racing. He has received three Crew Chief of the year nominations.

Team owner and driver Bob Richey said, "We are pleased to appoint Ed to this important position on our Trophy Truck team. Crew Chiefs with experience on other successful truck teams are hard to find. "

"We have invested a lot of time and effort into building a strong team for 1995, including an all new race facility, equipping it and putting the right people into place in the team. Ed has one or two more vacancies to fill before this year is out. "

"There are a lot of new trucks rumored to being built for next year, but all those teams are going to have a steep learning curve ahead of them."

"RCR will have that curve behind us and we can concentrate on being more consistent."

"We've shown that we can run with the factory teams. For the '95 season you will see a much more aggressive and competitive RCR Racing." ENDS. 340 Words For more info contact RCR Racing at RCRRACE@AOL.com
