KORE/Worthington Racing Finishes Third in the 39th Annual TecateR SCORE Baja 1000 Stock Full-size Class on Toyo Open Country M/TT Tires

LA PAZ, MEXICO - Toyo Open Country M/TT tires dominated this year's 39th Annual SCORE Baja 1000 race. In addition to the dynamic duo of Robby Gordon and Andy McMillin winning overall in the Trophy Truck Class, Team ToyoT Off-Road's Kent Kroeker, Landon Worthington and Loren Worthington of KORE/Worthington Racing also scored a podium finish for Team ToyoT by finishing third in the Stock Full-size Class.

"Driving the Dodge race truck on a set of production, off the shelf, 37x13.50x17 Toyo Open Country M/TT tires was an incredible experience; especially since the tires we finished the race on were the same set that we pre-ran with for the entire length of the course. We never experienced one flat, puncture or tear from our Open Country M/T's", said Kroeker.

The team's race began on Thursday, November 16, 2006, at 12:37 p.m. (PST) in Ensenada, Mexico, approximately 65 miles south of San Diego, and ended Friday morning, November 17, 2006, at 4:54 a.m. (PST) in La Paz, Mexico, at the southern end of the Baja California peninsula with the Worthington brothers behind the wheel.

Ramses Perez, Project Manager, Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corporation, said, "We congratulate the KORE/Worthington Racing Team for their podium finish at this year's Baja 1000, and are pleased the team demonstrated the durability and performance of Toyo's Open Country M/TT tires in this ultimate endurance event."
