PONCE INLET, FL - The All Star Circuit of Champions Commercial Truck & Trailer Shootout, a special 10-lap $3,000 to win Dash Race, will be held on Saturday night, October 2 as a part of the final All Star sprint car series points race for 1999 at Eldora Speedway. Joey Saldana has secured the pole for the 10-car Shootout, with defending Shootout race winner Kenny Jacobs alongside him. The starting line-up, based on car owner points accumulated in the Commercial Truck and Trailer Dash each race night, is as follows (showing owner, driver and total points):

1. Steve Mox 17 (Joey Saldana) 107; 2. Kenny Jacobs 6 (Kenny Jacobs) 97; 3. Warren Johnson U2 (Paul McMahan) 79; 4. Holbrook Motorsports 8 (Dean Jacobs) 74; 5. Stan Shoff 23s (Frankie Kerr) 53; 6. Butch Schroeder 17 (Butch Schroeder) 42; 7. B&S Racing 5 (Byron Reed) 34; 8. Denny Ashworth 92 (Danny Smith) 33; 9. Ed Lynch Sr. 2L (Ed Lynch, Jr.) 26; 10. Kahne Racing 23k (Kasey Kahne) 25; First Alternate: Guy Webb 51 (Jerrod Hull) 19. In addition, a complete All Star race program will be run that evening at Eldora with a 30-lap feature paying $5,000 to win.
