All Stars Return to "The Track That Action Built"

CAMARGO, IL (9-6-06) -- The All Star Circuit of Champions will return to Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio this Saturday, September 9th making this their third appearance at the facility in 2006. Many drivers on the All Star tour have called the 1/3 mile clay oval home at some point in their career. All Star legends Jack Hewitt, Frankie Kerr, Rick Ferkel, Al Liskai, and Jim Linder have several wins in the Fremont record book. The future All Star legends are set to do battle with the tough Fremont regulars this Saturday night.

The All Stars have always put on an exciting show for the fans at Fremont Speedway and this event will be no different as the season points chase is nearing the end. There are many local racers who will insure that the car count will be good in the heart of 410 country and the competition level will be high on the tough little bullring.

The All Star series last visited Fremont during Ohio Sprint Speedweek and the capacity crowd witnessed young hotshoe Ricky Stenhouse Jr. chase down Dale Blaney to take the win. The car count was one of the highest nationally for 410 sprints in the 2006 season. As another season is coming to a close, we hope that the All Star fans will be out in force to cheer on their favorite drivers and witness what has historically been some of the closest and most exciting racing in 410 sprints.
