ELDON, MO -- "You never know who is going to win an All Star race." That expression came true Friday as Greg Wilson became the sixth different feature winner in 10 Haulmark All Star races this season. The series christened the all new Lake Ozark Speedway, and Wilson led all 30 laps, holding off Kelly Kinser at the finish. Wilson's familiar No. 63 Barfield Gift Fruits Maxim rode on American Racer Tires with a Bob Hampshire engine under the hood.

Bill Rose started the A main from the pole with Wilson on the outside front row. Wilson jumped out to the immediate lead over Rose and fourth starting Kinser. Wilson led the initial stages of the race, and Rose tried to retake the lead following an early race caution. Wilson held off Rose's high groove charge, and then Kinser reeled in Rose, making a low groove pass for second coming off turn four.

As Wilson entered lapped traffic on lap10, he slid up to the high groove, almost off the track, allowing Kinser to close further. But Wilson was able to fight off Kinser's charge. Meanwhile, behind the leaders Kemenah was running third after starting sixth, followed by Rose, Danny Smith and Randy Hannagan. Rose and Smith kept the huge crowd on the edge of their seats, battling wing to wing for the fourth spot for four laps before Smith took the spot for good.

Wilson began building his lead again, pushing out to a half straight advantage with 17 laps in the record books. Kinser was able to hold off Kemenah as they tried to chase down the leader.

Lap 20 saw action stopped for a stalled Jesse Hockett. The running order was now Wilson, Kinser, Kemenah, Hannagan, Danny Smith, Paul May, Rose, Jerrod Hull, Jac Haudenschild and Tim Montgomery. Wilson motored away once the green reappeared, and led the rest of the distance. At the checkered Kinser was second over All Star points leader Kemenah, with Hannagan securing fourth.

Smith finished fifth, ahead of 12th starter May, who turned in his best finish of the season. Next was 15th starting Timmy Montgomery, 16th starter Haudenschild, Hockett, who charged forward after causing the final caution, and Jeremy Campbell.

The Crown Battery heat fell to Ryan Coniam, the B&B Products heat went to Joey Montgomery and the Engler Machine and Tool heat was won by Jerrod Hull. Kinser captured the Haulmark Dash and Kemenah was the Huggins Cams Fast Time qualifier.
