FINDLAY, OH - All Star videographer Jeff Kristensen and crew are pleased to announce the formation of "The Ohio Motorsports Hour", a one hour television show that will feature local racing action here in the Buckeye state. This will be a one time effort that will focus on the upcoming All Star "Ohio Sprint Speedweek" June 25-July 1, but plans are for the show to air weekly in the future. "This is something that I have been thinking about for quite awhile now, and thanks to the efforts of Baumann Chevrolet, TW Metals, United Expressline, Southwest Expressline, United Specialties, Bailey’s Racing Products and KSE Racing Products it is now a reality," said Kristensen. "This will be fast paced, action packed hour showing video highlights of all the races held during the Ohio Speedweek, as well as interviews with many of the drivers, and perhaps a studio guest or two." The show will be available to over 500,000 homes in Ohio through a variety of cable networks. A complete list of stations and air times will be announced in the very near future. Dwight Allen of Findlay, Ohio will act as the host of the show. Dwight has extensive radio experience and is the host of the weekly "Racing World" aired on WFIN in Findlay. Ex-racer and former competition director of the All Stars, Rick Nichols will co-host the show. Mike Lysakowski of New Castle, Pa. will add the color with many track-side interviews. Mike also has a racing radio show in Pittsburgh as well as publishing several racing related magazines. The actual production of the show, as well as the video highlights will be handled by Jeff Kristensen who has been the official videographer for the All Stars for the past three years and supplies ESPN and other networks with video highlights of all the All Star races. Baumann Chevrolet in Fremont will be the backdrop of the show, supplying space in their showroom for the studio set. Buck Baumann is very active in sponsoring local motorsports as they supply the pace truck for both Attica and Fremont Speedways. "With General Motors being a corporate sponsor of the All Star Circuit of Champions it made sense for us to approach a local Chevrolet dealer to help us out. I'm very happy to have Baumann Chevrolet come aboard," said Jeff. "Producing a TV show has been a dream of mine for a long time, and I feel the time is right to make the move. As of now this will be just a one time deal, but my goal is to make this a weekly show. With a little help and luck I will make it happen."
