ASCS2 Invades Will Rogers Raceway on Sunday Night
TULSA, Okla. (July 5, 2007) -- The American Small Car Series, ASCS2, will embark upon new territory this Sunday night by bringing the top Micro Sprint racers throughout the state of Oklahoma and beyond to Will Rogers Raceway in Claremore, OK.
With a pair of ASCS2 events in the books at Creek County Speedway, Sunday's event marks the series first stop atop the semi-banked, 1/6-mile Will Rogers Raceway clay oval.
ASCS2 has had six different winners in the six feature events contested thus far in 2007. Montie Frey, Jr., and Chris Berreth have both been victorious in Multi action, Denny Felker and Jonathan Halford have topped the Non-Wing mains and Tanner Mullens and Kyler Ray have raced to victory lane in Restricted "A" class action.
Berreth currently holds the ASCS2 point lead in the Multis, with Alex Decamp leading the Non-Wing division and Mullens atop the Restricted "A" points.
Hot laps for Sunday night's ASCS2 event at Will Rogers Raceway are at 6:30 p.m., with racing action set to go green at 7:00 p.m.
