Racing with Stars: Elite Racing and Allstar Performance announce unveiling of Special Knoxville Nationals Paint Scheme

All Star With the upcoming 50th running of the Knoxville Nationals, there will be plenty of stars on and off the track. On Tuesday August 10th, Jason Meyers and his Elite Racing team will be unveiling their brand new Allstar Performance paint scheme for the 2010 edition of the Knoxville Nationals. The paint scheme will not only reflect the Allstar Performance brand, but promises to be a star on the track.

To add to the Allstar lineup that will be present at the event, Dave Argabright, famed racing writer, will be serving as the MC for the unveiling. Jason Meyers will also be present with Elite Racing team principal Chris Luck and the entire Elite Racing crew. Allstar Performance will also have representatives on-hand to take part in this exciting event.

"We are very proud to be part of the Lane group and we are excited about our partnership for the 50th running of the Knoxville Nationals," stated driver and team co-owner Jason Meyers. "The unveiling of the paint scheme will be exciting for all involved and I cannot wait for everyone to get to see this car. Artist Jeff Sorrell and our partners at Motorsports Designs put their heads together and pulled out all the stops on this scheme that is sure to shine on the race track."

Meyers' partnership with Allstar Performance began 6 years ago after his first visit to the Lane Automotive facility in 2004. Following the visit, Meyers decided to run an Allstar decal on his car that evening in an effort to show the team's appreciation for the hospitality and support that they had been showed by the Lane Group. Since that initial meeting, the two have worked side-by-side, not only to strengthen the #14 car's program, but to further develop and improve the Allstar Performance product line.

Keep an eye out for upcoming announcements and release dates prior to The Nationals as we share this exciting event with you, including: new event merchandise and special appearances by Jason Meyers. The 50th running of the Knoxville Nationals promises to be a thrilling event on and off track for Elite Racing and its partners starting on August 11, with the finale on Saturday night August 14.
