The 25th Season for the Empire Super Sprints to be Brought to you by Jacobs Motorsports.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- In a major announcement, North Country businessman Ryan Jacobs and Jacobs Motorsports has signed on to be the tour sponsor for the Empire Super Sprints (ESS) for the 2007 racing season. In celebrating 25 years of sprint car excitement, ESS has grown to be one of the largest and most successful 360 sprint car organizations in the United States and Canada. With the addition of Jacobs Motorsports, teams will be racing for more money than ever before.

Ryan Jacobs is a racing fan, driver as well as a successful car owner. His big block modifieds are piloted by the talented Dale Planck and with his love for dirt racing grown over the years he is ready to launch many business ventures near and around the Hogansburg, N.Y. area.

In the coming months look for the Jacobs Motorsports to open an modified technical shop where race teams can bring their cars in and go over all four corners in detail. The goal is to either find a handling problem or make a modified attain more speed. The shop will then grow into a parts business and hopefully be a dealer in modifieds. There's even a plan to house sprint car equipment in the near future.

Venture two for Jacobs Motorsports will be a brand new ATV/Dirt Bike Store with the hopes of a factory funded team on the moto-cross trail to follow. The Northern reaches of New York State is an open market for this type of business and Jacobs is ready to take it on full bore.

"I've been working hard over the years in trying to build up my business ventures. The time has come where I'm ready to get them started." said Jacobs who will also pilot a brand new Maxim with Don Ott power on the ESS circuit for '07. "ESS travels around to many tracks that I would like to service so it's a perfect way to get my name out. Plus, with me driving a sprint at many of the shows I can talk to people one on one. This is going to be an exciting year for me and I can't wait to get the ball rolling."

Not only is ESS the highest paying 360 sprint car organization on the North East, with Jacobs Motorsports aboard it will also boast one of the highest paying point funds as well. "We are exciting to have Ryan and his business name aboard for the upcoming season. His support is truly amazing and we are blessed to have someone put his faith in us like he is." noted long-time ESS President Chuck Miller. "Last year we paid out over $30,000 in cash at our annual awards banquet and now we are well on our way to topping that. This will be a great way to reward our teams for their support in the 25th year!"

As the year moves on, look for many announcements to come from Jacobs Motorsports along with the launching of a brand new website.

With all the associate cash sponsors back plus more added, the news in the next few weeks will definitely be noteworthy in making the 2007 season the most lucrative ever. The schedule is set to be released at the beginning of February and for the latest up to date information please log on to www.empiresupersprints.com where it has been excitement guaranteed for nearly 25 years!!
