Rahmer, Kauffman, Pittman, Schatz and Kekich post wins in J&J'S

McKENZIE, TN - J&J Auto Racing teams scored wins in several racing sanctioning bodies last week and also at several weekly tracks. Fred Rahmer and Lance Dewease both in J&J's had a classic duel in Pennsylvania on Saturday night while Donny Schatz and Daryn Pittman both dominated World of Outlaws feature events last week. Keith Kauffman continued his dominance at Port Royal Speedway while Mike Kekich stopped Ed Lynch, Jr.'s winning streak at Sharon Speedway.

Pennzoil World of Outlaws - Donny Schatz and Daryn Pittman carry the J&J torch in the Pennzoil World of Outlaws and both have been doing well lately. On Wednesday, Schatz drove his #15 ParkerStore J&J to victory at Powercom Park Raceway in Beaver Dam, WI, leading all 40 laps to claim his second win of the 2002 season. Pittman won Saturday's WoO race in Pevely, MO, at I-55 Raceway leading 39 of the 40 laps to claim his third "A" feature win driving the #21 Sher-Don Motorsports J&J.

Lincoln Speedway - Fred Rahmer took the Joe Harz Racing #88h J&J to a thrilling win at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday night. Rahmer started 12th and took the lead in the 25-lap feature on the 13th circuit. Rahmer thought he had the win secure with only a couple of laps to go when Dewease powered the Hamilton Motorsports #77 J&J next to Rahmer. The two staged a war during the final two laps with Rahmer coming home first for his sixth win of the season at Lincoln and 118th of his career.

Port Royal Speedway - The Keith Kauffman express continued to roll Saturday night July 13 at Port Royal Speedway. Kauffman won his fifth sprint car victory of the season aboard Dave Middleswarth's Potato Chips #7 J&J. "That was a heck of a good race," said Kauffman following the win. "We had a good car. The fans should have liked that race. We all want to win. I want to win as bad as every one else does."

Sharon Speedway - Mike Kekich stopped Ed Lynch's run at the top at the New Sharon Speedway on Saturday night. Kekich, who claimed his first win of the season, took the lead at the start and led all but two laps for the popular win.
