SATURDAY FEATURE LINEUPS

PHOENIX, Ariz. (November 8, 2008) -- More than 50 drivers have battled out it over the past two nights atop Manzanita Speedway's 1/3-mile clay oval to set the feature lineups for Saturday night's Parker Store ASCS Non-Wing Western World Championships.

And, two-thirds of the way to a three-night sweep of the ASCS portion of the Western Worlds, Missouri shoe Jesse Hockett has earned the pole position for Saturday night's $3,000 to win main event.

Hockett is half way to a possible $6,000 weekend sweep of Discount Tire Co. American Sprint Car Series Canyon Region action after wiring the field on Thursday night and then making a late move around teammate Charles Davis, Jr., to win Friday night's preliminary feature.

Hockett will be joined on the front row by fellow Sprint Car swinger (equally adept in both the winged and non-winged ranks) Gary Taylor. The Washington-state native, currently residing in Oklahoma by way of Colorado, has picked up finishes of second and fourth in preliminary feature action.
