ASCS PATRIOTS HIT MID-SEASON AT MID-WEEK SHOW AT ROLLING WHEELS

TULSA, Okla. (June 28, 2007)- As the ASCS Patriots near the halfway point of the season, they will invade Rolling Wheels Raceway for the second time this season, making it the first of five tracks the series will revisit in 2007.

Fast cars invade "The Fast Track" on Tuesday, July 3, for an Independence Day Eve Showdown in Elbridge, NY. It is the only mid-week show of the season, making it one of the premier events on the 2007 calendar.

Chuck Hebing made a late-race pass on Jason Barney at the Patriots' second race of the year back on May 6 at Rolling Wheels. "The Cobra" is gunning for his fourth straight win at "The Wheels" but there will be a host of competitors looking to dethrone Hebing.

Jason Barney was motivated after coming home second back in May and has set his sites on defeating Hebing. Justin Barger nearly did beat "Cobra" at Thunder Alley earlier this year and is also looking to put his car in Victory Lane.

Rick Wilson won the ASCS Patriot event in 2003 at Rolling Wheels, which was also held on the Tuesday before the Holiday. Wilson has been dominating action in his native Ontario this year and will look to pick up one on American Soil.

Ray Preston has historically run well at the 5/8-mile speedway, including a second in 2005. Blake and Bobby Breen also enjoy their hometown track and will show their stuff next Tuesday.

This will be the fourth race of seven in the A-Verdi Storage Containers King of Central New York Series, a point fund established for the events in the heart of the Empire State. Look for the King of CNY regulars to be out in full force for this race.

The event will also be the third race of the year awarding the Tully's Good Time of the Night Award, given to the driver that turns the fastest circuit in hot laps. Tully's Good Times Restaurants has locations just down Rt. 5 in Syracuse.

Starting time for the event is posted for 7:00 p.m. with gates opening shortly after 5:00 p.m. The ASCS Patriot A-Main will be 20-laps and will pay $1,500-to-win with support from Shuttleworth Asphalt Sealing, Red Bear Hand Cleaner and Mike Emhof Motorsports.
