Gregg Back in ASCS Southwest Victory Lane
PHOENIX, Ariz. (September 27, 2008) -- Ben Gregg captured his first career feature win atop Manzanita Speedway's 0x00bd-mile clay oval by topping the American Sprint Car Series Southwest Region portion of the track's ASCS Arizona Fall Classic on Saturday night.
Gregg took his seventh ASCS Southwest Region win of the season in front of current series points leader Rick Ziehl, who charged from 12th to claim runner-up honors, with Brian O'Donnell, Joshua Williams and John Gaston rounding out the top five.
Gregg, Mike Rux, Jr., and O'Donnell topped heat race action.
