TULSA, Okla. (July 11, 2004) - After a day off to regroup, race teams competing on the 12th Annual COMP Cams American Sprint Car Series Speedweek fire back into action at Tulsa Speedway on Monday night before moving on to Tri-State Speedway near Ft. Smith on Tuesday.

Tim Crawley kicked off COMP Cams ASCS Speedweek by topping the opening round at Batesville Speedway on Friday night, while defending series champion Travis Rilat topped Speedweek Round Two at Little Rock's I-30 Speedway Saturday night.

Thirty-two cars checked into the pits for Friday's Batesville opener, with 40 cars on hand Saturday night in Little Rock. Twenty-nine drivers competed in both opening events of the seven night stretch of racing over nine days. Approximately 35-40 cars are expected for both Tulsa's Monday night event and Tuesday's Tri-State Speedway outing.
