USCS: 2004 schedule update

FAYETTEVILLE, GA - United Sprint Car Series officials have announced additions and adjustments to its 2004 schedule. The only winged outlaw sprint car series in the country has announced the addition of two Outlaw Thunder Dirt events, two Asphalt Thunder events, and a change of one dirt event.

The USCS Outlaw Thunder Dirt Series will visit Lancaster Speedway in Lancaster, SC on May 15. Another addition to the USCS Outlaw Thunder series is Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, SC on June 12. Both events will carry National, Outlaw Thunder and Sunbelt Tour points.

USCS will also move a Friday Outlaw Thunder Series date from Garnertown Speedway in Luray, TN to North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL on August 20. Garnertown Speedway will still host the USCS Outlaw Thunder Series on August 21, and both events will also carry National points.

The USCS Asphalt Thunder Tour will visit Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, FL on June 25, and then travel to Montgomery Speedway in Montgomery, AL on June 26. The USCS pavement pounders will also be competing for National points.

The next two events for USCS will be Outlaw Thunder dirt races at Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, GA on April 23, and at Oglethorpe Speedway Park in Savannah, GA on April 24. For more information about USCS, visit the series web site at www.uscsracing.com.
