LANIER NATIONAL SPEEDWAY TO HOST O'REILLY ASPHALT THUNDER TOUR ON MARCH 26
FAYETTEVILLE, GA - The O'Reilly United Sprint Car Series Asphalt Thunder Tour will make its first of two visits this season to Lanier National Speedway in Braselton, GA on March 26. Among the top drivers entered is the defending and four-time O'Reilly USCS National Champion and defending Asphalt Thunder Champion Terry Gray of Bartlett, TN.
One of Gray's two O'Reilly USCS Asphalt Thunder Tour wins last season came on September 4, 2004 at Lanier National Speedway, and the "Bartlett Bullet" finished second in the spring 2004 LNS series race on March 27, 2004.
The winner of last March's O'Reilly USCS Asphalt Thunder event, 21-year-old Doug Berryman of Fremont, OH will lead the SpeedMart "Young Guns" featuring drivers under the age of 25. Other SpeedMart Young Guns expected at LNS include Danny Martin Jr. of Sarasota, FL, 2004 O'Reilly USCS Rookie of the Year R.J. Johnson of Decatur, TN, Tom Winegardner Jr. of Pierson, FL, Bryn Gohn of Malabar, FL, Michael Miller of Ocean Springs, MS, and Joe Rebman of Mansfield, OH.
Along with Gray, the O'Reilly USCS Asphalt Thunder Tour veteran drivers expected will include Kenny Adams of Malabar, FL, Will Ragsdale of Easley, SC, Ted Williams of Atlanta, GA, Brian Thomas of Auburn, GA, Brice Wrenn of Lexington, SC, Chad Allum of Kannapolis, NC, and David Thorman of Greenville, SC.
