Trenton Forging Quality Formed Solutions Sponsorship of SPEED World Challenge Weekend at Mid-Ohio a Success

Trenton, MI -- May 23, 2006 -- Michigan-based Trenton Forging "Quality Formed Solutions" hosted the SCCA SPEED World Challenge GT and TC Weekend May 19-21 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Course in Lexington, Ohio for the second consecutive year.

Under sunny skies, Trenton Forging customers, family members and friends mingled with Autosport Development team owners Renee and David Moxlow and driver Stu Hayner while enjoying an exciting day of auto racing.

"This event gives us the opportunity to get a number of customers and their families out for a leisurely day of racing and social interaction," said James Olson, Trenton Forging sales manager.

Guests feasted on beef tenderloin, chilled shrimp, and a variety of hors d'oeuvres as they hung out with the Autosport Development professional race team in the paddock area and in the private suite on the fifth floor of the Goodyear Tower. Overlooking the course start and finish lines, the Goodyear Tower provided exceptional views of all the races.

Stu Hayner, driver of the Autosport Development No. 20 Trenton Forging/PR Machine Works Pontiac GTO posed for photos, discussed racing and signed autographs. Guests chatted with the crew and watched as they put the finishing touches on the car. Special VIP passes gave guests access to the entire paddock area where they had the opportunity to meet other team drivers and get up close to all the cars racing that weekend as well.

"Sponsoring this event is great for us," said Renee Moxlow, Trenton Forging/Autosport Development co-owner. "It allows us to bring all our customers together and provide an activity for them and their families they don't normally get to do. Everybody has a great time."

"Our customers also get a chance to network with each other, and we get a chance to network with the people they've invited to the race that we might not know. It just increases everyone's business."

"We certainly consider the event a great success," added Olson. "We had a good crowd that certainly appeared to enjoy the weekend. Everyone was out on the balcony of the Goodyear Tower cheering on Stu as he advanced from the 20th start position, ending in 9th place, for a solid top ten finish."

Michigan-based Trenton Forging is leading producer of custom impression die forgings for a wide variety of industries and a supplier of choice to many Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive and light truck suppliers. Trenton Forging was the first closed impression die forging company in the world to be certified QS9000/ISO9002 and is now ISO/TS16949: 2000 certified. The company also sponsors the Autosport Development #20 GTO, to be driven by Stu Hayner in the SPEED World Challenge GT Series at Mid-Ohio.

The SPEED World Challenge GT Series races in conjunction with the popular American LeMans Series, Indy Racing League, CHAMP and NASCAR Nextel Cup. Races are televised on the SPEED channel.
