R.Ferri Motorsport racing with Ferrari prepare for second season in World Challenge

Olivier Beretta will drive the No. 61 Ferrari 458 Italia in the GT class.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada - With three wins, eight podiums, and a strong run to third in the 2014 championship, Toronto-based R.Ferri Motorsport RACING WITH FERRARI made a big impression in its first season of Pirelli World Challenge competition.

Starting this weekend at the Circuit of the Americas, the team will look to build on that impressive 2014 effort as R.Ferri Motorsport RACING WITH FERRARI returns to the highly competitive sprint racing category in 2015, and has Olivier Beretta to piloting the No. 61 Ferrari 458 Italia in the GT class. He was a regular with Ferrari in European racing series and brings a wealth of experience to the team.

Having raced the Ferrari 458 GT3 in the past, I’m looking forward to racing in the Pirelli World Challenge.

While the 2015 season marks just the second in the sprint category for R. Ferri RACING WITH FERRARI, the team brings a deep roster of talent and experience to the program. Racing is in the blood of the organization, starting with the passion and dedication of team principal Remo Ferri, and the team has years of history in the sport including strong campaigns in GRAND-AM, IMSA as well as strong representation in Ferrari Challenge.

“After a successful inaugural season in the Pirelli World Challenge in 2014, we are excited to be back this year with a proven driver that has a tremendous amount of experience with the Ferrari 458 GT3. With our support from the factory coupled with the experience we gained from last year, I feel confident that we can be a very strong team and compete for the championship as I know we have a great car,” said Ferri.

Olivier Beretta will be behind the wheel of the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 #61 car. He was a regular with Ferrari in European racing series and brings a wealth of knowledge to the team.

“Having raced the Ferrari 458 GT3 in the past, I’m looking forward to racing in the Pirelli World Challenge. This is a new challenge for me and I know the car very well. I’m happy to be racing for R.Ferri Motorsport and together I feel we can have a successful year,” said Beretta.

The 2015 Pirelli World Challenge GT season consists of 11 rounds at eleven prestigious venues across North America, starting this weekend in Austin at The Circuit of Americas. Included in the schedule is the home race for R.Ferri Motorsport at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park race track in Bowmanville, Ontario on May 15th to 17th.
