McCANN LEADS DODGE MOTORSPORTS WITH FIFTH PLACE FINISH IN INAGURAL RACE AT MILLER MOTORSPORTS PARK

Robb Holland Posts Best Finish in World Challenge Series in First Run in 3R Racing Dodge SRT4

TOOELE, Utah (July 17, 2006) --Mike McCann and Robb Holland carried the banner for Dodge Motorsports in this weekend's inaugural event at Miller Motorsports Park. McCann, the top Dodge finisher, brought his No. 82 McCann Plastics/K&N Filters Dodge Viper home in the fifth position, while Holland gave Dodge its first top 10 in the Touring Series, bringing his 3R Racing Dodge SRT4 home in the ninth position in his first outing in a Dodge.

Dodge finished nicely in the GT class, with four Dodge Vipers in the top 10 and six of the eight Dodge Vipers in competition finishing in the top 15. Bob Woodhouse in the No. 13 Woodhouse Auto Family Dodge Viper brought home the second highest finish for Dodge with sixth; Rob Foster in the No. 17 LTI Contracting/Race Craft Dodge Viper came home eighth, Brett Pearson in the No. 77 Ventex Corp./Pearson Motorsports Dodge Viper posted a 10th place finish. Rookie Kyle Foster in the No. 83 Dodge Viper finished 11th, while fellow Dodge Viper drivers Tommy Archer and Rich Marizale finished 20th and 24th respectively as a result of mechanical/handling issues.

"It was a difficult race with hot temperatures and a crowded field, but McCann and Woodhouse did an excellent job finishing in the top 10 and maintaining their positions in the standings," said Gary Johnson, road racing manager for Dodge Motorsports. "Miller Motorsports Park is an excellent facility. I've been to a number of tracks around the world and this one is definitely in the top five. It's a challenging course that's great for drivers and spectators alike."

McCann is fifth in the standings, followed by Woodhouse at sixth, Rob Foster at eighth, Archer at ninth, Sauls at 12th, Pearson at 17th, Kyle Foster at 20th, and Marziale at 26th.

In the World Challenge series, Holland debuted his new Dodge SRT4 in the ninth position, a strong outing for him and his 3R Racing team. Rookies Brian Smith, in the No. 13 Woodhouse Performance Dodge SRT4, and Dan Aweida, in the No. 66 3R Racing Dodge SRT4, finished 20th and 24th respectively.

"We're really proud of Robb Holland and the efforts of 3R Racing to field his new Dodge SRT4," added Johnson. "It's a real accomplishment to bring home a top-10 finish in his first outing for Dodge and we think this is just a sign of things to come."

Holland was equally as enthusiastic about his new Dodge SRT4.

"I'm excited to be in the Dodge family," he said. "Our first time on the track was Wednesday and we were good from the beginning. 3R Racing did a phenomenal job getting this car ready in eight weeks. We were able to run fast all weekend and we could run with some of other manufacturers.

"This gives me a great outlook for the rest of the season," Holland added. "I just got in the car on Wednesday morning and we were on pace right away with my teammates. I think we'll be quick everywhere we go. This Dodge SRT4 is easier and more relaxed to drive than what I was in before. I think we'll be a strong force later this season. We're going to go testing this week and dial in our Dodge to my driving style."

Holland has high goals for the rest of the season and feels he's now on track to achieve them.

"My goal from the beginning of the year was to win rookie of the year," said Holland. "That's definitely possible now. I also believe we'll be on the podium by the end of the year. My job is to win races and that's what we're here to do."

Both series have a few weekends off before their next event, which for the Dodge SRT4s of the Touring class will be the Grand Prix of Denver on August 11-13, and for the Dodge Vipers of the GT class will be at Road America on August 18-20.

The SPEED World Challenge Touring race will air on SPEED on Saturday, July 22 at 3 p.m. ET followed by the GT series race at 4 p.m. ET.
