Deuce Racing RML are pleased to announce the latest addition to their top line Ascar team - leading young driver, Anthony Swan.

22 year old Anthony impressed in ASCAR last year, coming 10th in his first full season of competitive racing, regularly challenging the leading contenders for a top spot.

Anthony is a firm favourite with the fans, being ASCAR's only truly "local boy" living only a stone's throw from the series spiritual home, Rockingham Motor Speedway.

Anthony's first taste of competitive racing came courtesy of Team West-Tec and he is quick to recognise them:

"I want to thank Gavin Wills and Dennis Klein and the guys at West-Tec for giving me my first shot at ASCAR. They gave me the opportunity to try out Britain's best motorsport and while I enjoyed my time with them, its time for us all to go our separate ways to achieve our aims."

Anthony's aims are simple - a shot at the ASCAR title and so it is little surprise he has opted to join ASCAR's leading team in a bid to do this. Deuce Racing RML are equally excited by this newest addition to their ranks.

Phil Barker from Deuce Racing RML says, " Anthony's raw talent impressed everyone last year and we are looking forward to helping him step up a level and become a genuine challenger for the championship. His popularity in the local area always makes him one to watch and I reckon Anthony Swan will be a name on everyone's lips this summer."

It has not been decided which of Deuce's playing cards Anthony will represent, but there's little argument that he is going to be one of 2003's ASCAR Aces.
