Jarit Johnson & Butch Miller Team up for ASL Campaign

Jarit Johnson and Butch Miller held their first test day together at I70 Speedway in Odessa, MO. The newly formed team is preparing for the start of the ASL Season which will open April 30 at I70. Butch Miller will be taking on a new role in racing as Crew Chief and Coach to Jarit Johnson. Miller is considered a short track legend with over 400 feature wins. Moving out of the race car to the top of the pit box is an adjustment for Butch but he's looking forward to his new role and his driver.

"I've realized my days as a driver are winding down. But
I'm excited about working with Jarit. I think I have a real driver
on my hands! Jarit adapted quickly to this difficult track and he looks
really good out there." Miller Said.

Jarit Johnson just signed with SS Racing earlier this year and is new to all the tracks on the ASL Schedule. "I have a lot to learn on these tracks. But I'm very grateful to have to the opportunity to work with Butch who's had so much success." Johnson Said. Butch Miller will still drive a few races this year in the Craftsman Truck Series for SS Racing. Jarit Johnson will share some of those driving duties as well with a few planned Craftsman Truck Races along with the full ASL Schedule and other events.
