AUBURNDALE SPEEDWAY "THE HOME OF NON-STOP RACING ACTION" PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

7-5-97 RAIN WASHES OUT AUBURNDALE RACING Auburndale, FL-- Rain forced cancellation of racing action Saturday night at the Auburndale Speedway. Racing will resume on Saturday night July 12th with Late Model Sportsman, Street Stock, Modified Mini Stock, and Pure Stock divisions. The Legend Cars of Florida will also join the line-up for action on the banked quarter mile paved oval. The points battle for the season championship remains close with a tie for the lead in the Late Model Sportsman division between Ollie Harbin and Ray Cuzzone. The remainder of the schedule for July features the Mid-Season Championship awarding double points to the drivers on July 19th. Pro Figure 8 and the Kids Club join the regular divisions on July 26th.
