This is shaping up to be a season to remember for APC Series driver Brandon Watson.
After starting the race on the front row, Watson took the lead on the first lap of the race and held off a late challenge by Shawn McGlynn to become the first driver in series history to start the season with three consecutive wins in the late model touring series.
Watson was fastest in qualifying and started second after Josh Stade drew the first starting position after the pill draw to reset the field.
The race was slowed five times for caution with the final yellow flag given to the field on Lap 76 after Rick Burbridge took a spin in Turn 2.
Defending series champion Andrew Gresel followed McGlynn to finish second.

Clinton Geoffrey Kruchka and Adam Ross served as announcers at the speedway with Ross also serving as lead announcer for all NASCAR Pinty’s Series races in addition to his duties at Oshweken.
Ontario Modifieds return to Peterborough
Brad Stevenson leads the Ontario Modified Racing Series back to Peterborough Speedway this Saturday for the third time this season and will try and become the first repeat winner on the tour this year.
Stevenson won the first race at Peterborough Speedway and he leads Duane Cinnamon, who won the 2017 season opener at Sunset Speedway in May, by just three points before the fourth race of the season gets underway on Saturday.
Mark Gordon is the third driver to win in as many races this season in the modified division.
