ASA veteran Butch Miller and west coast ace Zach Niessner sign for 2003 season.

Indianapolis, IN. (October 31, 2002) - SS Racing has announced the continued relationship with former 3-time ASA National Champion Butch Miller to their American Speed Association (ASA) stock car team for the 2003 season. Miller will be joined by Late Model Racer Zach Niessner. Miller will be reunited with his familiar No 52 and be again representing ASILIMITED while driving a new Lefthander Chassis Package.

"I am excited that Butch Miller has chosen to stay with our team and pursue his quest for a 4th National Championship. We wanted to get this deal done early so that we as a team can focus on one thing-The 2003 National Championship." Says Ken Smith. "This will send a message that we are committed to put the #52 ASILIMITED Monte Carlo up front."

Miller raced part time during the 2002 ASA season, finishing 15th in points while amassing 4 poles and 3 victories in just 13 starts. "I am here because of the quality of the equipment and the structure of this team." says an openly excited Butch Miller. "I like everything this team is doing. From the owner to the crew chief, we are all on the same page."

Zach Niessner has made two previous ASA starts, one in 2002 for SS Racing. Plans call for Niessner to run no more than eight races to ensure his rookie status for 2004. "I was very impressed with Zach while he spent a couple weeks with us in August. He is not only an excellent driver but a very competent assistant to Deon our Crew Chief. I look for Zach to make an impact during the 2003 season in and around our cars." says Ken Smith.

"I am so excited to have this opportunity to be apart of this team. I hope to learn so much from Butch and Deon and help in anyway I can to further develop this team and their relationship with their sponsors" says Niessner.

Crew chief Deon Deneau adds "It is great to have all these decisions behind us. This allows me to begin my work early and bring Butch and Zach in over the winter so that we will be ready in March to begin our pursuit of the 2003 National Championship."
