The ASA Late Model Series Officials are happy to announce that Chad Wood of Wood Bros Racing will compete in the 2005 ASA Late Model Series.

Chad Wood whose home town is Madison, Wisconsin began his career as a regular competitor in the Super Late Model division at Madison International Speedway before advancing to ASA National Tour in 1998.

Chad ran four events with the ASA Late Model Series in 2004 and managed to acquire 3 top five finishes.

"We are really excited about some of the talent we see coming into the series this year" commented Varney the ASA Late Model Series President.

The 2005 season will prove to be a very competitive one as the series continues to attract a high level of very experienced teams.

Trackside Charities Foundation and Chad Wood will work together in the 2005 season to help children of all ages work through life altering situations.

Trackside Charities is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting existing children's charities with their fund raising efforts. It must also be known that 80% of all donations will go directly to children's charities requesting assistance from Trackside Charities.

Trackside Charities will be having fund raising parties at certain ASA Late Model Series races. The night before the race, Trackside Charities provides a fun environment for race fans including great music, dancing and a chance to meet some of the ASA Late Model drivers.
