CICERO, Ill. - Mark Dismore collected his second top-10 finish of the year at Sunday's USAMeats.com 200 for the ASA ACDelco Series. Dismore, piloting the Monster.com/WorldBestBuy.com Chevrolet Monte Carlo came home sixth after starting the event outside of row seven in 14th place.

"The Monster.com/WorldBestBuy.com car was excellent all day," Dismore said. "We just kept messing with it every stop we made, hoping just to get it a little better, but it was awesome. The guys did a great job in the pits and it moved us up on restarts. Howie (Lettow, crew chief) had a remarkable set-up on this car and it showed."

"I definitely ran her hard," Dismore continues. "Everyone on the lead lap ran me clean and it's nice to have some good luck for a change. I'm happy for this team and glad we picked up a good finish for the Herzogs and our sponsors. I hope we can keep it up and continue runs like this for the next few weeks."

Randy Herzog, co-owner of the Herzog Motorsports entry, was thrilled with Dismore's finish. "Mark did a great job out there today," Herzog said. "He continues to show his determination and I believe the team, with the great leadership of Howie, will continue to have great races like this."

Dismore has moved up to 16th place in the ASA National Points Standings, less than a hundred points out of the top-10. Dismore remains fourth in the Pat Schauer Memorial Rookie of the Year chase.

Dismore qualified his Monster.com/WorldBestBuy.com Chevrolet in the 14th starting position and continues to gain confidence in his qualifying attempts. Over the past four races Dismore has qualified firmly in the top-20, gaining entry into the feature events without the use of provisionals.
