Billy Crane To Compete For CRA Super Series Rookie Of The Year In 2005
IDEPENDENCE, MO -- A full Champion Racing Association (CRA) Super Series schedule, plus competing for CRA Rookie of the Year is what young Billy Crane has planned for his 2005 racing season.
During Billy's first year of asphalt racing he allowed a glimpse of the future. Billy was the youngest driver to race at I-70 Speedway, Odessa, MO, stepping out of an asphalt modified after the main feature to race his asphalt super late model each week. In his inaugural season, Billy finished 5th in modified season points and 8th in late model season points at I-70 Speedway. He also finished 10th in his first CRA Super Series race at Baer Field Speedway in Ft. Wayne, IN and 15th in the World Cup 300, his second CRA Super Series sanctioned race at I-70 Speedway.
Crane Racing Motorsports has put together a team of young men whose racing program will feature two ARP Monte Carlo's on Port City Chassis' and primary power from the CRA approved sealed engine package from McGunegill Engine Performance.
Crane Racing Motorsports would like to express their appreciation to Patriot Surplus Products, Pinnacle Spas, Clark Timmons Oil Company, Spray Paint and Equipment, and Pepsi. They would also like to thank Billy's fans for their loyal support and encouragement.
Look for Billy's first career feature win to come sooner rather than later.
