Salem, IN (January 16, 2007) -- T.J. Fisher will be pulling double duty again in 2007 racing in Champion Racing Associations CRA Super Series and CRA Sportsman Series. Last season the Ossian, Indiana native finished 20th in CRA Super Series points running only selected events while finishing third in CRA Sportsman points with one victory racing for Gary Hancock.

Fisher will race 8 to 10 selected CRA Super Series events again in 2007 for his father Terry Fisher Sr., hoping to change the bad luck that has plagued him the past two seasons. The team will change to a Hanley Chassis for 2007 and recently purchased a McGunegill Engine Performance Sealed Engine, with hopes that the new combination will result in improved finishes. Fisher's best seasons were his first two with the series in 2003 and 2004 when he got 10 to ten finishes and 2 top five finishes, finishing 10th in series points in 2004 and 8th in points in 2004. Fisher was runner up in Rookie Of The Year honors in 2003 in one of the tightest rookie battles in series history involving Chuck Barnes Jr. and Tommy Hernly Jr.

Fisher will return to the drivers seat in the Hancock Racing Chevrolet with the goal of winning the 2007 CRA Sportsman Championship. Fisher was in the hunt for the season championship this past season all the way until the final event when his day ended early after getting caught up in a wreck. Fisher would finish in third, 33 points behind series champion Keith Sterkowitz and 12 points behind second place Al Cook Jr. Fisher got a win at the series stop at Baer Field Speedway last year and had second place finishes at Mt. Lawn Speedway and at Winchester Speedway in July.
