Racing Legend Mike Eddy Commits to 10 Race Schedule with CRA Super Series
J-VEE-M Racing to Field the Familiar Howe Racing Enterprises #88 for the Short Track Legend

(Columbus-OH) -- J-VEE-M Racing co-owner and team manager Jeff Miller announced today that his team, with legendary driver Mike Eddy, will run a "Select" 10-race schedule with the Champion Racing Association (CRA) Super Series in 2005. The exact schedule is still being determined by the amount of support received from each market, but the team is committed to carrying the banner for Howe Racing Enterprises in the upcoming season and bringing the familiar #88 back to the short tracks of the Midwest.

The J-VEE-M Racing/Mike Eddy combination could prove to be very successful, if history is any indication. Mike Eddy has long been heralded as one of the top short track drivers of all-time. He is a 7-time ASA National Champion with 58 National Tour victories and leads all other driver in Career Laps Led, Career Starts, and Career Top 10's. After a two-year layoff, Eddy jumped back in the driver's seat in 2004 and returned to his winning ways with a dominant victory in the ASA race at Berlin Raceway. It was one of his first races with J-VEE-M Racing. The new combination was also a top contender in the 2004 CRA Super Series Anderson 400.

J-VEE-M Racing has a long history of success and is looking to continue that in 2005. Owners Jeff Miller, Ed Maddy, and Nelson Kohman have put together a team that will feature two Monte Carlo's on Howe Chassis' and primary power from the CRA approved sealed engine package from McGunegill Engine Performance. Miller, whose credentials include over ten years of crew chief experience in ASA and a NASCAR Winston Racing Championship in 1998, will again serve as the crew chief and team manager. Through the years, drivers including Gary St. Amant, Tom Harrington, Mike Stacy and Robbie Pyle have all had success in cars prepared by Jeff Miller and his team.
