FORMER NASHVILLE WINNERS LEAD LIST OF ENTRIES SO FAR FOR THE SPRING CLASH 150

Salem, IN (March 9, 2007) -- Former winners of CRA Super Series sanctioned events at the Music City Motorplex at the Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee lead the list of 47 entries so far for the Spring Clash 150 at the Music City Motorplex on Sunday, April 1. Joliet, Illinois native Boris Jurkovic, winner of the CRA Super Series 200 lap portion of last falls All American 400 has filed an entry for the Spring Clash 150, Jurkovic looks to claim his second Guitar Trophy at a track he has mastered recently. Jurkovic finished second in last springs CRA Super Series 150 lap event and finished second in the CRA Super Series All American 400 event in the fall of 2005.

Pensacola, Florida native Eddie Mercer, winner of the CRA Super Series 150 lap event last spring, has also filed an entry, Mercer has also run well recently at the Music City Motorplex getting a third place finish in the CRA Super Series 200 lap portion of last falls All American 400. Cleveland, Georgia native Jason Hogan, winner of the 2005 CRA Super Series All American 400 event, has also entered in pursuit of his second coveted Guitar Trophy. Hogan looks to change his bad luck he had in the 2006 CRA Music City Motorplex events were he finished 20th in last spring's event and 35th in last falls event.

Wheaton, Illinois veteran racer Eddie Hoffman claimed two Guitar Trophies last year winning both ASA Late Model Series events at the Music City Motorplex. Hoffman has entered the Spring Clash 150 in hopes of claiming his first CRA Super Series Guitar Trophy and will defend his ASA Late Model Series wins in the 200-lap ASA Late Model Series event on Saturday, March 31. Hoffman finished in third in last years CRA spring event and 10th in the fall event.

2006 CRA Super Series Champion Scott Hantz leads a strong group of CRA Super Series regulars entered for the event. Also entered are 2006 series points runner-up Tommy St. John, JR Roahrig, Eddie Van Meter, Jeff Lane, Chris Gabehart, Bobby Parsley, Kenny Tweedy, Rick Turner, Jason Shively, and Andy Ponstein. A talented group of series rookie drivers are also entered including Johnny Van Doorn, Nick Baran, Sean Matthuis, Tom Knippenberg, Benny Van Cleve, and Ray Mooi.

Besides the CRA Super Series regulars, other notable northern drivers entered include Wisconsin Challenge Series Champion Nathan Haseleu, also a winner with the CRA Super Series last year in the Elmer Musgrave Memorial 100 at Illiana Motor Speedway. Minnesota's Josh Vadnais, a winner last year in the now defunct NASCAR Midwest Elite Series and 8th place finisher in last springs CRA Nashville event has entered. Also entered are Wisconsin's Tim Rothe and Nebraska's Josh Krug.

Several top southern drivers are entered including the top two finishers at last weekends exciting Rattler Super Late Model Event. Alabama natives Augie Grill, the winner of The Rattler, and 15-year-old Hunter Robbins, who finished in second, have both entered the Spring Clash 150. Both cars will need repairs to compete in the Spring Clash 150 after wrecking at the finish of last weekends event.

Other top Southern drivers already entered include Alabama natives Steven Davis, Dave Mader, Josh Hamner, Stanley Smith, Johnny Brazier and Martin Pierce. North Carolina drivers Dennis Schoenfeld and Teddy Musgrave Jr., son NASCAR's Ted Musgrave, have also entered along with Florida's Scott Carlson and Georgia drivers Russell Fleeman and Ricky Sanders.
