Sunoco Performance Products To Continue Marketing Partnership With The Kendall Late Model Series

Salem, Indiana (January 2, 2002) – Sunoco Performance Products will continue its marketing partnership with the Kendall Late Model Series for the 2002 race season by providing the Official Race Fuels of the series. Sunoco Performance Products will have both Sunoco Race Fuel and Turbo Blue Racing Gasoline as the Official Race Fuels of the Kendall Late Model Series. The 2002 season will mark the fifth straight season that Sunoco Performance Products has been involved with the Kendall Late Model Series.

Sunoco Race Fuel will award a bonus to the top three drivers in the final series season point standings that used Sunoco Race Fuel the entire season. Turbo Blue Racing Gasoline will award a bonus to the top three drivers in the final series season point standings that used Turbo Blue Racing Gasoline the entire season. Drivers will have to declare before their first race in 2002 which brand of fuel they will use.

2001 Kendall Late Model Series Champion Brian Ross was the top series driver using Turbo Blue Racing Gasoline last season. 2000 Kendall Late Model Series Champion Scott Hantz, the series point’s runner-up in 2001, was the top driver in 2001 using Sunoco Race Fuel.
