Rug Doctor Rents Continues Sponsorship of Clean Sweep Award

Salem, Ind. (March 8, 2002) - Rug Doctor Rents has announced that it will continue its sponsorship of the Rug Doctor Rents Clean Sweep Award with the Sunoco Super Series for the 2002 season. The Rug Doctor Rents Clean Sweep Award will be offered at the thirteen events the Sunoco Super Series will have in the state of Indiana in 2002.

Rug Doctor Rents will award a $200 bonus to a Sunoco Super Series Indiana events fast qualifier if that fast qualifier can also win that events feature. If the bonus is not awarded, it will roll over an additional $200 at each Indiana event until an events fast qualifier wins the feature. If a bonus is awarded, the award will start at $200 at the next scheduled Indiana event.

Last season there were three Rug Doctor Rents Clean Sweep Award winners. Brian Ross claimed the first award of $800 at the series fourth event at Plymouth Speedway. Peter Cozzolino claimed a $600 award at the series seventh event at Winchester Speedway. Junior Hanley claimed a $1,400 award at the series fourteenth event at Indianapolis Raceway Park.

Since there were no Rug Doctor Rents Clean Sweep Award winners for the last four series events in 2001, the award amount will start off at $1,000 for the first series event of 2002 at Anderson Speedway on April 20th.

Rug Doctor Rents will again be the Primary Sponsor of Wolfe Racing and driver Scott Wolfe who will be racing in his second season with the Sunoco Super Series. Scott Wolfe finished 16th in series points in 2002.
