Crate Racin' USA Awards Banquet preview

CRATE RACIN' USA NATIONAL AWARDS BANQUET TO BE HELD NOVEMBER 30 IN TAMPA, FL

CARTERSVILLE, GA - The Crate Racin' USA National Awards Banquet will be held on Wednesday night, November 30 at the Wyndham Harbor Island Resort Hotel in Tampa, FL beginning at 7 p.m. Crate Racin' USA will crown its first-ever National Champion and honor the Top 10 points drivers for the 2005 season.

The banquet will be held in conjunction with the Crate Racin' USA-sanctioned $10,000-to-win 100-lap Jasper Engines Crate Late Model World Championship Race presented by American Race Tire at East Bay Raceway Park on December 1-3.

Denny Slayton of Rossville, GA will be honored as the 2005 Crate Racin' USA National Champion. Awards will also be handed out to Crate Racin' USA Top 10 drivers Jeff Fields, Mathew Turner, Curtis Cline, Robby Bilbrey, Jeff Purvis, Jimmy Kay, Jeff Smith, Steven Ashby, and Jeremy Ledford.

Crate Racin' USA Founder and Series Director Mike Vaughn will make several special announcements concerning the 2006 season, and will formally introduce the new Crate Racin' USA President of Operations and Communications Roby Helm to the membership.
