USA International Speedway is geared up to open the season with SpeedFest 2005 racing with three different super late model series all starting at 8 p.m.
The races at USA will be 100 lap super late model races Thursday and Friday night. The finale will feature a Mark III Conversion 200 championship finale on Saturday evening in a North-South battle of the best.
The racing series are FASCAR Sunbelt Super Late Models, O'Reilly Southern All Stars, Champion Racing Association and Pro All Star Series.
FASCAR Pro Truck and Southern All Star Super Truck races run the same nights with 25 lap races on Thursday and Friday and a 50 lap race on Saturday. The truck races immediately follow each super late model race.
NASCAR NEXTEL Cup driver Mark Martin will sign autographs on Saturday during the autograph session.
Each 100 lap super late model race pays $3,000 to win and the 200 lap event pays $8,000 to win.
Front gates open at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday and practice is scheduled from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday grandstands open at noon. There will be two practices each day one at 1 p.m. and another at 2:30 p.m. Each practice session is scheduled to last for one hour.
Qualifying is slated for 5 p.m. each day. There will be a last chance race if needed, starting at 7 p.m. each night.
Front straightaway ticket prices are $20 Thursday, $20 for Friday, $30 for Saturday or all three days $50 and children under 10 years are $10 each day. Backstretch tickets are $15 for Thursday, $15 for Friday and $20 for Saturday. Children age 10 and under are $10 each day.
