FULTON, NY...Billy Decker won his fourth Fulton Speedway DIRT Big Block Modified feature race of the season last Saturday on Hertz Equipment Rental Night. Decker passed Tim Fuller for the race lead on lap-33 and eventual win. Fuller's second place feature finish was good enough to earn his third straight season title at the Home of the Dynomax Victoria 200.

Ryan Richardson raced out to the early lead at the start of the Hertz Equipment Rental DIRT Big Block Modified feature. Richardson would lead the first two circuits. On lap three a strong running Dave Rauscher took command of the talented field. With five laps complete Rauscher, Richardson, Decker, Fuller and Alan Johnson raced in the top five positions.

Rauscher would lead the field through lap-10. It was on lap-11 when Fuller swept by Rauscher on the outside to take the lead. At the halfway mark Fuller was being followed in the top five by Decker, Johnson, Jimmy Phelps and Rauscher. Sean Beardsley, Vinnie Vitale, Richardson, Pat Ward and Matt Sheppard raced in positions sixth through tenth respectively at the halfway stage.

It appeared that Fuller was on his way to victory as he was able to hold off the pressure applied by Decker and Johnson in a three-car battle. The final caution period of the race came on lap-31. At that time it was clear that Fuller's right rear tire was in trouble. On the restart Fuller was able to hold off Decker, but on lap-33 the driver of the Gypsum Wholesalers car made the winning move.

Fuller was able to hold on for second which was good for the track title in the B&F General Machine ride. Johnson, Jimmy Phelps and Ward completed the top five feature finishers. Vitale, Richardson, John Barker, Beardsley and Jeff Isabell finished in positions sixth through tenth respectively.

Alan Johnson earned the DIRT 358 Modified feature win in the eight lap mini-series event. Johnson also claimed the DIRT 358 Modified track title. Matt Sheppard, John Lazore, Donnie Wetmore Jr., and Dave Rauscher followed Johnson across the line.

Kevin Bates ended his dominating season at Fulton Speedway in the DIRT Sportsman class with his sixth feature race win of the season and the track title. Mike Bowman, Jeremy Pitcher, Matt Janczuk and Brett Tonkin completed the top five feature finishers. Bates held off Bowman in the late going for the victory in a good battle for the win.

Bob Buono won his first ever 20-lap DIRT Pro Stock feature race at Fulton Speedway last Saturday night. Veteran T.J. Fitzgibbons earned the track title. Ray Maloney, Jack Terrell, Jason Parkhurst and Pat Hobbs followed Buono across the finish line in the top five.

Rusty Marsden won his eighth Fulton Speedway Pure Stock feature race last Saturday night as well as his second straight track title. Dan Hofmann Sr., Dave Emmons, Jim Donaldson and Curt Prevo followed Marsden across the finish line.

Russell Erwin won the first Four Cylinder Super Stock feature race of the season last Saturday night over Joey Delacruz, Daryl Carl, Glen Erwin and Rich Rainville. The Four Cylinder Super Stocks will return to Fulton Speedway on September 10 and September 24.

Jerry Herbert won another Four Cylinder Enduro feature race last Saturday night. Morris Mathews, Chris Bomoffski, Chad Guthrie and Mark Johnston completed the top five feature finishers.

It is Family Fun Night this Saturday at Fulton Speedway with admission set for only $5. The King's Smash'em Crash'em Demolition Derby will highlight the show. In race action will be the DIRT Pro Stocks, Pure Stocks, Four Cylinder Super Stocks and Four Cylinder Enduro racers. One on One Spectator Racers will also be staged.
